QuantaPro 4M TE Cooled CCD Camera

Teledyne DALSA's new QuantaPro 4M high sensitivity thermoelectric cooled full frame area camera is designed for to deliver ultra-low noise in low light conditions and long integration times. Employing a 4 megapixel front illuminated (FI) device with QE approaching that of back illumination (peak QE of 70%) and offering GigE or CameraLink connectivity for convenience, the QuantaPro 4M is a very economical solution for astronomical and scientific imaging.

Dark current drops to 0.1 e / pix / sec at -35°C, allowing long exposures with negligible noise.

Linear 16 bit digitization provides dynamic range to >10000:1 (82 dB) and the single output format running at 10MHz allows for higher frame rates without the complications of multi-output tap matching.
